8am ::: Official thank you and goodbye
An opportunity to say goodbye to new friends you have met, and the old ones you've caught up with during Alfesta.
10am ::: Checkout
Time to pack your bags and check out at the reception desk. Don't forget to settle for any room incidentals, such as snacks you've had from the mini-bar.
For those staying at Craigieburn or other off-site accommodation, you can choose whether you check out early before breakfast, or head back to check out of your accommodation after the goodbyes.
Farewell ... or an optional post-Alfesta drive
If you are heading home, we hope you have a safe journey and look forward to seeing you at Alfesta next year.
If you haven't quite had enough, you might like to join the optional organised drive that can take you up to lunch on Tuesday in Goulburn, if you follow it for the entire route. The drive will head to Berry and then Gerroa for lunch at the Gerroa Boat Fisherman's Club for an a la carte (as small or as large as you like) lunch overlooking the ocean. After lunch we will visit Hyams Beach, which is widely celebrated for having the whitest sand in Australia. Our dinner venue will be the Waters Edge Restaurant in Batemans Bay. There are several accommodation options within walking distance of the restaurant.
On Tuesday we will hope for a clear run up Clyde Mountain and then have a stop in Braidwood. While you are wondering which of the wonderful chocolates to buy, your partner might be making a similar decision in the model car shop next door. Then there are some interesting and scenic roads to get us to Goulburn in the Roses Cafe for lunch. After lunch there are options for heading north towards Sydney, Bathurst or Orange, and south via the coast again or the Hume Highway.
Costs such as lunch, dinner and overnight accommodation, will be your responsibility to pay directly with accommodation and food providers.
Note: Unless stated otherwise, all bar drinks during Alfesta are at your own cost.
