Alfesta Comes to Western Australia – 2027
In 2027, Alfesta returns to Western Australia for the first time in almost three decades, as the AROCA WA Division hosts the national gathering in the beautiful South West town of Busselton.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Geographe Bay, the event will be centered around Broadwater Resort, with the Hilton Busselton hosting the Gala Dinner and Awards Night.
Participants will enjoy the traditional Alfesta highlights – scenic drives, a Show 'n' Shine, social gatherings and celebration dinners - along with spectacular touring through the Margaret River region, renowned for its vineyards, forests and coastal scenery.
Alfesta, the national gathering of Alfa Romeo enthusiasts in Australia, is hosted each year by a different AROCA state division. The tradition began in 1975 when the Victorian division organised the first official Alfesta, although Victorian members had already been holding informal gatherings for several years beforehand.
The inaugural event was held at Lake Boga, near Swan Hill in Victoria, over the Queen's Birthday long weekend in 1975. Around 45 enthusiasts attended, including three members who made the journey from Western Australia, one from Queensland, several from New South Wales and the remainder from Victoria.
From those modest beginnings, Alfesta has grown into the premier national gathering for Alfa Romeo owners in Australia, bringing members together from across the country to celebrate the marque, share their passion and build lasting friendships.
